Pastel
art watercolor techniques are a creative way to make any of your paintings
uniques.
The following is a preview of a 10 minute video I have
produced showing you some of the techniques I discovered while
experimenting with a pastel painting I was working on several years
ogo.
I was working on
some beautiful yellow roses from my backyard in southwestern
Arizona.
I had used pastels for several years, but I was
never satisfied with the background.
It was especially difficult
to add a background in after the flowers were done, but I just didn't know
until I had them done,exactly what I wanted for it.
I had
just recently tried some watercolors at a mini class I took, but I didn't
own any watercolor paints yet.
It was then that I decided to
experiment and dissolve some of the chalk to see if I could use that for
my background.

show you some of the watercolor techniques that resulted from that
experimentation for my pastel art.
